Project Length: March 2017 to May 2017 (break) April 2018 to May 2018
Cutie Booty Blasters was a final project for my Advanced Game Engine Scripting class in the Spring of 2017. It was met with great praise from my peers and instructors for its level of polish and attention to small user experience details. After the class was finished though, I put CBB on the shelf for the time being, always dreaming of going back to it and finishing / refining it. In April of 2018, I was informed that students would be able to show off their work for Columbia College Chicago's festival, Manifest. Knowing that, I figured this would be the perfect time to go back to CBB. For the next month I rebuilt CBB from the ground up incorporating everything I've learned in the past year.
The goal of CBB is simple, you score points based on how many other players you blast. Though there is a trick, shooting your pellets at players won't affect them outright. If you want to score points, you'll have to hit their butt, which only reveals itself when they move. It's a game of chasing down other players while also trying to not show off your butt to them too.
